I work at Hothead Games, a company I helped start which is focused on delivering innovative gameplay experiences for a variety of PC, handheld and console platforms. Before that I was a producer at Radical Entertainment, making console video games. I worked on several projects at Radical, including game production as well as software implementing H-Spline technology. My last three games there were Crash Tag Team Racing, The Simpsons Hit & Run and The Simpsons Road Rage.
While I was at UBC, I did my master's work under Alain Fournier in the area of illumination for computer graphics. My thesis was entitled Properties of Tabulated Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Functions. I was part of the Imager computer graphics lab in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia.
